About Sue Rezin

Sue Rezin, Morris IL, has been the manager of their family real estate company, for the past fifteen years. Sue is a graduate of Augustana College, where she earned a degree in International Business and Political Science with a minor in Hispanic Studies. After working in Chicago as a marketing manager, Sue and her husband Keith moved to Morris, IL where they are raising their four children.Sue Rezin Family Pic

 

Public service is an important part of her work. For thirteen years, Sue has been an active Board Member of the Morris Hospital Foundation. She currently serves as Vice President while chairing the Annual Support Committee and presiding over the Executive Committee.

 

For the past seven years, Sue has been a Board Member and past Vice President, for the Community Foundation of Greater Grundy County. With over four million dollars endowed, their goal is to address issues such as improving the lives of the working poor, childcare, workforce development and land use. Sue also serves on the Board of Directors for We Care of Grundy County, whose purpose is to provide temporary food and housing assistance for the working poor.

 

Sue has been active in building grass-roots support and fundraising for state and local Republicans. Since 2004, Sue has served on the Senator Gary Dahl Charity Foundation Board, which financially supports non-for-profits in the 38th District.

 

Sue continues to be an active volunteer as a wish grantor for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois for the past twenty years. Additionally, she served on the school board where she was also a volleyball coach for twelve years.

 

Sue was recently inducted into the 2009 Illinois Lincoln Series, where she was honored for her philanthropic work and dedication to bettering her community. The Illinois Lincoln Series of Excellence in Public Service empowers, educates and amplifies the voices of Republican women of leadership in government, business and civic organizations.
